Welcome to the American LaFrance Owners Network (ALFON) website. This site is dedicated to American LaFrance enthusiast and collector. This network’s website was designed to link these enthusiasts and collectors, all over the globe, with a meeting place to discuss American LaFrance apparatus and equipment.

American LaFrance has been producing quality fire apparatus since 1832. The name American LaFrance is one of the most recognized fire apparatus manufacturer’s in the world.  It is the Network’s goal to work with American La France to build a network between the apparatus they produce today and the apparatus of the past.

The Owners’ Network knows that once the apparatus rolls out of the plant, it becomes forever a piece of firefighting history and eligible to join the network. The Owners’ Network gladly accepts all American LaFrance products into the Network, regardless of who owns the truck or its age.    

The goal of the Owners’ Network is to maintain records and information about every style and type of apparatus manufactured by American LaFrance. This information will be used to track apparatus history, help owners find repair and restoration information and to provide the enthusiast a place to write and display photos of apparatus.
